During the pandemic restriction period (and the current lockdown in England), most employees who live more than a short walk from the office are working from home with full access to the IT and phone systems. We are undertaking site visits and attending meetings where possible within the restrictions on movement and distancing requirements. Projects on site are run according to Covid-19 risk assessments specific to each site in order to maintain safely. We continue to work on drawings, specifications, reports, gaining statutory consents, assistance with grant applications, procurement of contractors, contract administration, and bids for future projects.
The directors hold daily situation screen conferences to monitor the rapidly changing public health and legislative context, and their effects on clients, contractors and consultants. We are monitoring the progress of the Spring 2021 ‘roadmap out of lockdown’ and will adjust our working practices after further review.
